In November of 1995, Quang Lam started his martial art's training with Grand Master RuHu Zhu in Phoenix, AZ. Sifu Lam became an assistant instructor in 1998 until 2003. In June 2003, Zhu moved to San Francisco. Sifu Lam was certified by Zhu to teach the White Crane Kung Fu System, including Tai Chi, Weapons, and Qi Gong. In November 2003, Sifu Lam opened a White Crane School in Phoenix and was head instructor. In March 2005, the school moved to temporary quarters in Tempe. In 2006, the school relocatd to Mesa where it has continued to grow the past three years.

Began formal training in the northern/southern style of Kung Fu Wu-Su in 1984 under Muallim Umar Sharif in Phoenix, Arizona. In 1996, he began formal training in Toisan style White Crane Kung Fu under Master Ruhu Zhu in Phoenix, Arizona.  He teaches all levels of White Crane Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Qigong, and Weapons.
